synopsis
When considering Martin Heidegger’s reflection on the harmony of elements that create a home, the filmmaker explores the concept of living as a set of certainties and habits when he deconstructs a typical middle class family living room with an explosion in order to subsequently recreate its original harmony of individual elements.
biography
In his work, Taiwanese videoart pioneer Yuan Goang-Ming (1965) works with critical metaphors of technology as they relate to the human mind and perception. He teaches at Taipei National University.
