Ji.hlava More Accessible

We want everyone to enjoy Ji.hlava! And this includes those who have perceived the festival as difficult to attend.

Ji.hlava More Accessible

In order to make Ji.hlava accessible to all, this year we are providing FREE passes to seniors aged 65+ and to holders of ZTP and ZTP/P cards. This offer also applies to one accompanying person for each ZTP/P card holder.

Free accreditation

How to get accreditation?

You can apply for accreditations now on our Visitor Page* or in person from 25 October 2024 at the Infopoint on Masaryk Square in Jihlava (this is also where accreditations ordered online will be issued from 25 October). It will also be possible to make reservations for specific screenings at the Info Point. Reservations can also be made online – on the festival website (after logging into your user account).

* If you do not yet have an account in our database, please fill in your basic identification data and create a password. Registration will simplify further communication with the Ji.hlava IDFF and you will be able to use your account in the following years. After completing the basic registration you will be able to access the ACCREDITATION form. You can see the terms and conditions for purchasing accreditations here.

Special screenings

Projections adapted to special needs

As part of our inclusivity and accessibility of the festival, this year we have prepared special screenings adapted to accommodate audiences with specific needs. These screenings are carefully marked in our programme so that they can be easily identified.
Screenings marked with the ℗ symbol are for people with disabilities. These screenings offer an adapted environment and do not contain strobe effects, psychologically challenging themes, or violence. A festival representative will be at the screening and can be contacted if needed. Patrons should expect the possibility of increased noise or more frequent movement of people around the theater. These accommodations allow viewers with special needs to have a more comfortable and enjoyable film experience without worrying about disrupting traditional cinema conduct.

Screenings for people with disabilities:
30.10.2024, 10:00, cinema Dukla – Edison: "Vtáčnik"
31.10.2024, 10:00, cinema Dukla – Edison: "Pachová stopa" (for the visually impaired)
31.10.2024, 10:30, cinema Dukla – Reform: "Džungle Placht"

Screenings marked with the ∞ symbol are specialized screenings for parents with children. These screenings offer a more relaxed atmosphere where parents do not have to worry about possible disturbances. Parents with children are given priority and free admission to these screenings with no reservation required. Please arrive 15 minutes before the screening starts. During these screenings, the theater will not be completely dark, only dimmed. Children are free to move around and play with quiet toys. The cinema will be wheelchair accessible.

Screenings for parents accompanied by their children:
26.10.2024, 10:00, cinema Dukla – Edison: "The Day Iceland Stood Still"
28.10.2024, 13:30, cinema Dukla – Edison: "Every Little Thing"
31.10.2024, cinema Dukla – Edison: "Prezidentka"

Accessibility

Accessibility is key for us. We are pleased to announce that Dukla and Diod cinemas are fully accessible. We provide easy access for visitors in wheelchairs and welcome assistance dogs without restrictions.
