Baby clothes on the line, a fictional mother and cots for sixty-five boys and girls stuck in time paint a sensitive portrait of the residents of a children’s home. The probe into a fragile world of those who are waiting accompanies Táborský's socially-themed feature films Escape in the Wind and Miraculous Puzzle.biography
Václav Táborský (born 1928), a Czech pioneer of cinéma vérité, made over eighty short films and almost fifty educational programmes. After August 1968, he emigrated to Canada, where he worked as an educator. His work is divided into satirical documentary features and feature films for children, including Escape in the Wind and Miraculous Puzzle.more about film
