Director, filmmaker, screenwriter, and editor. He has graduated from the Department of Documentary Film at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He has worked as a teacher, social worker and journalist, and he written screenplays for children’s programmes, documentaries, and current affairs coverage for the Czech Television. His six-part documentary series Enclosed World about the remand prison in Teplice presents stories of several inmates and people from the staff. The cross-section of the current system of enforcement makes the viewer think whether our prison system can correct or change a person. The series was edited into a feature film, which won the main prize at the Ji.hlava IDFF in 2018.
