A graduate of the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University, Silvie has been working as a pedagogue in the sphere of education in cultural institutions and has contributed to several publications. She has helped initiate educational projects and been a long-term collaborator of different schools. She is a lecturer of visual arts history and aesthetics and currently also a Jihlava City Councillor for culture.
