Film critic, historian and an educator. Editor at the Respekt Weekly and editor-in-chief of film magazine Cinepur. As Assistant Professor at the Department of Film Studies of the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University she specializes in the history of relations between Hollywood and Europe, culture under the socialist regime and film festivals. She is currently leading a project mapping the history of Karlovy Vary IFF before 1989.
