A film recording of a window – one of the iconic objects of the diary pictures of the pandemic era – created with traditional in-camera tricks. Here, the frame within a frame is a reflection of the geometry of the image, drawing the attention of the viewer situated in the middle of the interior from which the camera tries to gaze out.biography
The Australian filmmaking duo Dianna Barrie (1972) and Richard Tuohy (1969) are well-known worldwide for their innovative approach to making and development of 16mm films. Instead of using dominating digital technologies, they prefer working with analogue film material, aiming at its reestablishment through, among others, founding the Nanolab laboratory and organizing workshops.
