synopsis
When the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Svetlana went to the Czech Republic with her two daughters. Now she intends to return to the war-torn country. Christmas is approaching and the family wants to spend it with their husband and father, who stayed in the Kyiv region. The camera impartially records the preparation for this risky journey.

biography
Olexi Chubun (born 1996) is an independent Ukrainian director and screenwriter, working in Poland since 2014. He studied screenwriting at the Wajda School in Warsaw, and is now studying directing at FAMU in Prague.
