Horologe of Dreamers
It's perhaps a story characteristic of the early 1990s: amidst fresh entrepreneurs, someone was collecting metal trash and building it into tuning lines for a large custom musical instrument. Orloj snivců - Horologe of dreamers: that's what his player and developer Jaroslav Kořán called it. To make a point over nails and picks, players named the parts: God's fingers, chrome-vanadium universal, talking rafiks, heavenly organ... "In the mountains, for example, I heard: talking, singing and music, humming, breathing and whispering, rumbling, trembling, whispering, moaning and wailing, laughing, lamenting, preaching, (...) honking, ringing, buzzing, shouting (...) and silence..."
