Clever Things That Save Time? / The problems that technologies solve and create
Digital technologies are already introducing a number of ways to save time and optimise our life and the demands that accompany it. Along with improvements in data collection and evaluation, more great leaps are yet to come. However, criticisms of the very idea of further progress are emerging: What price do we often pay for it? Where does our personal data end up and for what purposes is it used? We will find out what problems so-called smart digital solutions really solve and which ones are emerging as their influence grows. And how important will it be to give people the right to refuse to use these technologies, whether it be self-service checkouts or digital communication with the state?
