Chyba systému LIVE / The mythical nineties
There are few terms more emotionally charged in our country than “the nineties". For those who experienced the era, the 1990s represent a period of long-awaited freedom, while others point out what should have been done better. What shaped the new institutions of the emerging democratic system after the end of the previous regime? How were the rights and duties of local governments, the relations between the president, parliament and government, and the functioning of university senates shaped? And most importantly, how did this affect the current challenges facing Czech society, such as the affordability of housing or the quality of education?
