The documentary film by Olga Malířová Špátová follows Anastazia Krausová and Martin Tomášů both in and out of assisting. The film is part of the asistujeme.cz campaign, which introduces the general public to work that enables people with disabilities to live freely.biography
Olga Špátová was born in 1984 in Prague. Her parents are the famous Czech documentary filmmakers Jan Špáta and Olga Sommerová. After graduating from graphic design school, she applied to FAMU - department of feature film directing. She was not accepted three times. She won 26 awards for her short feature films at amateur and professional festivals at home and abroad. She won the Grand Prize for her film Triple Play at the 40th Academia Film Festival in Olomouc. She made a film about her relationship with her mother Olga Sommerová (Un)censored Interviews and one of the two parts of their joint film Love Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. As a cinematographer she worked on Olga Sommerová's films My 20th Century and We Survived Our Children. She produced a DVD of the singer Radůza and a documentary about the National Theatre production of The Well-Paid Walk, directed by Miloš Forman.more about film
