Lissoni is the chief curator of the film collections at the Tate Modern in London. Previously, he worked as a curator at the HangarBicocca museum in Milan. He co-founded the independent art network Xing and the international festival Netmage in Bologna. At the Tate Modern, he founded the annual Cinema program, conceived as an exhibition that takes place throughout the year. He co-organized an exhibition and live program for the expanded BMW Live Exhibition in 2016, 2017, and 2018, and the Joan Jonas exhibition in 2018. Last year he was the co-curator of the Bienále de l’Image en Mouvement in the Geneva Center for Contemporary Art.
