Film of the month: What We Ask of a Statue is That It Doesn’t Move
"What would the statues say if they could talk?" asks the director in this poetic film from the streets of Athens, which mixes imagination with a political message. The clash of two worlds – the human world full of dynamism and the world of ancient statues representing tradition and static – is depicted with a playful exaggeration in which the statues come to life and the people, in turn, turn into statues. Can the destruction of the Parthenon Temple help social change?
The movie will be available after you log in with your account with a valid accreditation. You can buy an accreditation here.
