synopsis
Does society behave any different in the times of crisis? How much are we willing to sacrifice for our own safety? Were we overwhelmed by fear or panic during the coronavirus crisis in the Czech Republic and Slovakia? And who did we blame for the outbreak? Through three stories, the film contemplates the narrow-mindedness of people masquerading as an effort to stay safe.
biography
Markéta Janků (1995) studied transcultural communication at UHK. Already during her studies, she started working as a documentary filmmaker for the Memory of the Nation project, and soon afterwards moved to the UK, where she studied film at Middlesex University of London.
