synopsis
This docu-soap offers an insight into prison staff’s daily life and, using stories of three offenders in different stages of their imprisonment, presents an overview of our current correctional system. Its message transcends to reflections on guilt, punishment, justice and the possibility of rehabilitation or change in our prisons.
biography
Czech Television Creative Group of Petr Kubica mostly produces social documentary films and series, such as Czech Journal and Tribes. Their projects include, among others, Televise bude! (Television’s Coming Soon, 2014), Gottland (2014), or Arzenál series (Arsenal, 2016).
