synopsis
On its way out of the apartment, through the kitchen and bedroom, into the city, and out into nature, the stealthy running camera is drawn especially to the girls’ faces, to their bodies. The staccato, accelerating cut only settles down when meeting the old man and looking in the mirror.
biography
Alexandru Pecican (1956
–2017) was a member of the Arad experimental film collective kinema ikon, a filmmaker and creator of videos, scripts, poems, and books. In the 1980s, he worked as a librarian. As a writer, he collaborated with his cousin Ovidiu Pecican and was particularly devoted to the science fiction genre.
