synopsis
An eight-part documentary series that maps the contemporary female songwriting scene. It presents a number of Czech female singer-songwriters, musicians, lyricists, and poets, allowed by the modern age to play almost anything and anywhere, presenting their work to listeners instantly, online, de facto from the kitchen. We will show you an episode called "Buřičské", where you will see Dasa Vokata, Nikola Mucha and Tereza Lavicka.
biography
She graduated from FAMU in Prague, majoring in documentary filmmaking. In her films, she has long focused on individuals and families who have to deal with some form of disability. In 2016, she released the successful documentary film Love Me If You Can, in which she uncovers the taboo topic of sexual assistance for the disabled. The film won the Audience Award for Best Film at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival.
