Filipino painter and animator Roque Federizon Lee (* 1950), known as Roxlee, has been making films since 1983. He is one of the most prominent figures of the Philippine film underground and was a pioneer of film animation. He combines classical animation, found footage, and fictional elements, and addresses environmental and human rights issue.
