synopsis
An imaging system consisting of two cameras, two monitors, and one lit light bulb. The image transmitted by the first camera to the second monitor is caught by the second camera and transmitted to the first monitor, where it is again captured by the first camera. The light is transmitted through the system’s loop even after the bulb goes out.
biography
Wojciech Bruszewski (1947 - 2009) created (together with Piotr Bernacki) the first art video in Poland,
Pictures Language (1972). He has been involved in computer art since the mid-1980s, and in the 1990s he created a computer program that wrote sonnets in a non-existent language.
