This film, at the intersection of visual art and documentary, reveals the shadowy past of the Dutch colonial empire through artfully edited archival footage. biography
Indonesian filmmaker and visual artist Timoteus Anggawan Kusno (1989) studied cultural studies at Sanata Dharma University and political science at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. His work has been exhibited in museums around the world, including the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, MMCA in Seoul and MoCA in Taipei. His short films have been shown at the international festivals CPH:DOX, Rotterdam, etc.more about film
