synopsis

Paths can lead us home, but we also run along them into the distance. Have you ever really looked at them? Maybe then we wouldn’t be so afraid of change and loneliness. The film is an epitaph for a memory that is constantly being born and dying, and of which we are an inseparable part.

This film was made during the 2024 My Street Films workshop under the guidance of Marika Pecháčková and Ivo Bystřičan.

This film will be featured in the online edition of Ji.hlava IDFF.

biography

My name is Lenka Nemeškalová and I am a high school student. I’m involved in various fields of art, but I wanted to create a film that would connect the paradox of something abstract and concrete. I live in the Rychleby Mountains, and nature is a great source of inspiration in my life.
