synopsis

Self-portrait as Doubt is a video collage-essay on the topic of a doubt and an uncertainty. In the film the author through an image and sound develops a contemplation about his own art praxis. An introspective work combines author's shots with appropriated material, a family archive, drawings and reflections to a form of a multi-layered collage.

biography

František Fekete (1993) holds a master degree from the Center of Audiovisual Studies at the Film Academy in Prague. His work ranges from artistic video and multimedia installations to digital photography, collage and text. He is interested in topics of conditions of subjectivity in contemporaneity. He works as a curator in the 35m2 gallery.
