And that light changes shape
Kristina Kůlová / Czech Republic / 2020 / 4 min.
synopsis
A short documentary about Lubomír Přibyl, mostly shot at his Prague's studio and Museum Kampa in Prague. A reflection of his lifelong work, using a minimalist camera and black and white images to underscore Přibyl's original style. For Přibyl, structure and light are of the utmost importance, his paintings reveal the core of something natural, something that is being shaped, very slowly, in shining light; they capture peace and quiet of long planes of time.biography
