Sýček
Sýček is known as the messenger of death, but in Czech alternative music it has always been a nickname for a band devoted to krautrock. Motoric drums, hypnotic melodies, repetitive structures, minimalist lyrics, the motto "less is more". Currently, the Czech-Slovak band Sýček is releasing its second studio album "IV" in autumn 2024 after seven years and continues to have the ambition to lead fans into an intense trance with its pulsating surfaces. And the power of words? The Indian poetry of Ladislav Novak, the awkward poetics of Egon Bondy, the contemporary poetry of Radek Štěpánek and the inspiration of DG307's Symphony of dread Nosferatu, based on the film by F. W. Murnau. Dark motifs as a source of energy.
