Kyuubi

The mystical Japanese nine-tailed fox. A mysterious creature, an animal and a demon hungry for total freedom. A new experimental project in which three female musicians explore landscapes of sound, openly searching, modulating, reshaping and composing in the present. They use electronic and acoustic instruments, objects and their own bodies. They set no boundaries. Time has unrolled, the air is scented with incense. A concert improvisation between live film soundtrack and lo-fi world music performed by Umi Zenko, Ebi Tenko and Tori Yakö. 

Kyuubi was created at Fabrika Doubice in the summer of 2024 during a residency by Vladivojna La Chia with colleagues Karolina Šustová and Tereza Čepková. "We experienced transcendental moments when we were immersed deep in sound and music and realized that we were experiencing something special, unique and rare."
