Matěj Hrudička is currently studying film directing and writing and the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. During his studies, he wrote and directed short films of various genres, including a steampunk sci-fi The Isolator and a promotional spot for the 20th anniversary of his faculty. His latest project is a feature length documentary The Prison of History about a former complex for political prisoners, which he co-directed with Jan Gogola Jr. He's currently finishing The Minor Escape, a coming-of-age short film about two boys running away from home.
